Challenge
Due to Access Control policy in McAfee VirusScan Enterprise, Windows 10 updates won’t run and install properly.
Solution
In order to run properly, the McAfee VSE Access Control needs to be disabled temporarily. To do this from a normal user login, it needs to run as an Administrator. On the search box, just type in: VirusScan Console and right-click and select Run as Administrator. Disable the Access Control.
Please note that the disable is only last for around 30 minutes by default.
Environment
* Microsoft Windows 10
* McAfee VirusScan Enterprise
