Solution – How to Force-Close
You need to force-quit an app if it is not responding. To perform this action:
On the Apple TV remote, double-tap the Home button to show up the app switcher.
If you are in the current app, it will be shown first. Otherwise, swipe right until you find the app that you want to close.
Swipe up and the app will close.
Tap again the Home button to return to the main screen.
Select the app that you have an issue with previously and it should work now.
