Background

We gave access to a particular folder within the client extranet in Citrix ShareFile to multiple organisations. The process is straightforward; a small proportion of users cannot access this.

Solution

Here’s the step-by-step:

Account Verification

First, you receive confirmation from the Citrix ShareFile administrator that they give you access.

Check your email from [email protected], and the name will be the account administrator like XXX Support, XXX Admin, XXX Administrator

Email

Then, you click the link either “Click here to activate your account and view this folder” or copy and paste the URL underneath that.

Citrix ShareFile Personal Detail

You should see the name and company populated. Verify the detail and click the Continue button.

Citrix ShareFile Password

Create and confirm the password.

Then, click the Save and Sign In button.

That’s it, and you are in!

Start browsing the file or upload or download the files.

After you manage to sign in in the last step, you should receive an email below from [email protected], and the name will be the account administrator like XXX Support, XXX Admin, XXX Administrator.

Email Confirmation

In this email, next to the “Sign-in page:” section, there will be a link to Citrix ShareFile with a subdomain, i.e https://[subdomain].sharefile.com
